Who of you have heard of the Two Rivers Urban Park? Or know that it's quite the inviting place to have a picnic on a hot summers day (like we have been experiencing the last 2 days!), or even catch up on some birding, investigating the abundance of flowers or even ride a horse if the mood takes you.
If you don't fancy a picnic you can always walk to the restaurant that serves mouthwatering breakfasts and lunches, made from ingredients either self made or organically grown.
You might be surprised to know that its probably in your own back yard! Situated right behind and in many ways part of - the Oude Molen Eco Village. The name - Two Rivers Urban Park is derived from it being around the back part of the Oude Molen Eco Village, featuring a strip of meadow, bordered by the N2, Liesbeek and Black Rivers.
We here at Riverlodge Backpackers sure are lucky as it feels like we are in the countryside, yet so incredibly close to the center of Cape Town and all our wonderful Mothercity has to offer :-)
